  • Project 525: Shaping the Future of Network Experts

The Ministry of Transport, Information, and Communication Technology (MTICT) has launched Project 525 in Oman under the strategic cooperation and supervision of Cisco Oman. Project 525- CCIE is a structured 12‑month mentorship program designed to support IT professionals in achieving Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification, recognized as the networking industry’s most advanced qualification. The CCIE credential validates expertise in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network solutions across enterprise networking, security, service provider, and data center environments.

Project 525-CCIE is offered exclusively in the region through NIL Middle East®, with NIL Africa managing the complete delivery and deployment of the initiative. This ensures a seamless, high‑quality learning experience tailored to the needs of ICT professionals in the region.
Project 525 was previously launched in the GCC, specifically in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through a collaboration between Cisco and King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (Academy 32), with 32 engineers from various government entities participating to date. The program was also introduced in Qatar, engaging five participants from the Ministry of Commerce.
